Dining room

   Bill Buchanan house has a large airy dining-room and there are two sittings for each meal, with two to four residents sharing a table. Our residents are given three nutritious, home-cooked meals prepared by our qualified caterers each day.  Resident's dietary requirements are provided for, as well as regular tea times.

Hall

There is a large well equipped hall with  a stage and change-rooms on the lower level in which various activities/entertainment takes place.

Lounge

A spacious lounge with a fully equipped library, tuck shop, and a hairdressing salon are situated on the dining-room level.

ENTERTAINMENT

Among the many social activities in which residents may participate are: Bowls, snooker, table tennis, darts, handcrafts, yoga, ballroom dancing, musical instruments,  cards and bingo evenings, videos, socials and fund raising events, as well as musical exercises.

Chapel

Church services are held regularly in the chapel for residents who wish to attend.

We have public phones on the premises, but your own private phone can be installed for your account. 

TUCK SHOP

On Mondays, Wednesday and Friday mornings we open a Tuck shop which provides a wide range of consumer products at affordable prices.
