The
Association owns and manages a wide variety of residential complexes:-

following types of accommodation are available:
Buchanan House
Full board and
lodging is available for 300 residents in single, double and En Suite rooms. .
Ablution blocks for men and women are positioned near bedrooms. There is a
fully furnished lounge, laundry room, and public telephone on each floor. All
lounges are equipped with television sets.

Emmerson House
The semi-fit and
frail care facilities offer a 24 hour professional nursing service which is well
managed and administrated by our State Registered matron. Sisters, nurses and
care givers, see to the every need of our residents. Be this helping with
bathing, dressing or administering medication on a regular basis. A Social
Worker, Chiropodist and Physiotherapist, are available and regular activities
are arranged to stimulate the residents.

All Bill Buchanan
Association for the Aged developments are sold on a Life Rights basis.
Self-Catering flats for both
married couples and single woman
Each complex is under the control of a supervisor who is responsible
for the administration and well being of the residents. All complexes are
visited on a regular basis by a qualified nursing sister assisted by three nurse
aids. All the residents in these complexes receive priority for admission to
either Bill Buchanan house or our frail care home, Emmerson House, should the
need arise.
Helen Gibling Gardens
This complex has
48 flats, and is delightfully situated in lower Burman Drive. The accommodation
consists of a lounge/bedroom, balcony, entrance passage, kitchen and bathroom.
Arcadia
Situated in
Peacehaven Place on the Bluff, the complex consists of 70 flats or cottages for
married couples and 28 flat lets for single women.
Benson Place
Situated in Rapson Road, off Windermere Road,
Benson Place consists of 45 double flats and 45 single flats for single women at
Millar Court. It enjoys close proximity to shops, church and bus routes.
